Director of Advocacy & Strategic Relations
Mikayla Zimmerman is the Director of Advocacy & Strategic Relations for the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce. She is a recent graduate from the University of Wyoming where she received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Communications with a minor in Public Relations.
As a Wyoming native, Mikayla has a strong sense of community involvement and passion for volunteering and developing relationships in Cheyenne and surrounding communities. Mikayla comes from a farm in Hillsdale, Wyoming where she grew up raising and showing livestock. Her love for agriculture and youth development has led her to volunteer for Laramie County 4H as a co-club leader.
Mikayla earned her Gold Congressional Award medal in 2018 and has since become an adviser and mentor for youth in the program across the state of Wyoming.
Along with her dedication to community development and volunteering, Mikayla's interests include traveling, learning about new cultures and agriculture. Mikayla is looking forward to working with members of the Cheyenne community.
