Burke Moving & Storage

Did you know that the average person will move their household 11.7 times throughout their lifetime?

This is in accordance to a study conducted by the United States Census Bureau. Burke Moving & Storage has been serving families and area businesses for 80+ years. The business was originally founded in 1936 and switched ownership in 2006.

They service individuals all over the world. While Cheyenne is their home base, they can help with any type of move from the most complex to the home that is across the street. They are focused on being available to their clients. In fact original owner, Howard Burke, owned an airplane to travel the state to visit the other branches of Burke Moving. This inspired the logo still used today, which features Pegasus wings as the focal point.

Burke Moving & Storage value the Cheyenne community and most importantly, they really embrace the importance of heritage.

"Cheyenne is home and to this day has a hometown feel within the business community.  A person's word is their bond.  The Code of the West is alive in Cheyenne and we foster this in our business." Expressed current owners Bryan Scadden and Gordon Taylor.

We strive to provide our clients with the best possible service because we want to be their moving and storage business of choice. There are always people moving and we are focused on being the best so that we can be a reputable moving company for decades more.

"Our crews are the best and customer service is our focus. We will go as far as customizing boxes to be able to protect our clients valuables. We go the extra mile because we do it for our customers, it is what they deserve." further explained the owners.

For fellow businesses and future entrepreneurs Scadden and Taylor shared some advice. "Watch the dimes and nickels and the dollars will take care of themselves."
