Calling All Manufacturers

National Manufacturing Day – MFGDAY is officially on Oct. 5th, 2018.  Many of you may have already been contacted by other groups to consider hosting an event, tour, open house at your facility to help students and the public know the importance of the manufacturing industry in Wyoming.  We are working with Manufacturing – Works and the Wyoming Business Council to help promote MFGDAY to our membership and ask you to consider hosting an event.   Copied on this email is Gustave Anderson with M – W and Tom Dixon with WBC.  They are coordinating the promotional aspects of an event you would put on.

Puma Steel and Gater Industries have signed on and I know other members have been contacted and are considering events.  Puma Steel is combining their event a week earlier with National Steel Day activities on Sept. 28th.  If the October 5th date doesn’t work for you, you can move the date around to anytime it fits your operation.

If you are interested, please take a look at this link for the resources available through our Alliance membership with the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM),  http://www.mfgday.com/ or call me, Stephanie Joy Meisner-Maggard, VP of the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce at 307-638-3388 or email me at stephaniem@cheyennechamber.org.
