Chamber Hosts Second Annual Trap Tournament Benefiting Military



The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce hosted the second annual “Chamber Trap Tournament” presented by Spradley Barr Motors on Friday, August 14th at the Cheyenne Trap & Skeet Club.


Community members burned powder and pelted clay with the Chamber while recognizing the military community. The inaugural event is an opportunity to raise funds for the Military Affairs Committee who focuses on military and troop support. Attendees included statewide dignitaries, the business community and area military.


Plaques were awarded to the highest scoring male and female individual shooters, and the first-, second- and third-place teams. Spradley Barr additionally donated free oil changes to the highest scoring male and female winners

The Cheyenne Trap & Skeet Club is an outdoor venue and precautions were taken for social distancing, cleaning and disinfecting.


Lunch was prepared by a variety of food trucks, including Tortilleria La Paz and Chugwater Chili. Interstate Roofing additionally provided free ice cream to guests.


Silent auction items were generously donated by Cheyenne Beverage, Crum Electric Supply, the CFD Old West Museum, Black Tooth Brewing, and Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply.


The day was made possible by the Chamber's sponsors and volunteers. Special thank you to each individual who dedicated their time and made this event so special.
