Greater Cheyenne Chamber hosts The Boeing Company in Preparation for FE Warren Modernization



One year ago The Boeing Company first came to the greater Cheyenne area to visit with local leaders. Next Thursday, April 11th, Boeing will be returning to the community to visit specifically with area businesses. All businesses interested in becoming a Boeing Supplier is encouraged to attend to learn how. Advance registration is required. There is no admission expense. Event is kindly being provided by The Boeing Company and Blue Federal Credit Union. Boeing is one of two companies competing for the contract with the United State Air Force for the modernization of three missile bases. To ensure a strong future for generations to come, Congress had appropriated $90 billion toward the project. The overhaul will place a new weapon system online called Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (G.B.S.D.). In preparation the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce has been equipping businesses and community members with the knowledge of how they can take advantage of this extensive opportunity through their GBSD Bound Initiative.
