Reality Town Success

The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce had a vast number of Chamber Partners volunteer their time at this year's Reality Town provided and coordinated by Laramie County Community College. There were over 115 volunteers in attendance to make the event possible. Participants of the program are Freshman of Laramie County School District #1 and there were a total of 675 students total.

Reality Town educates students on the value of a dollar and how your personal earnings cycle through various businesses, service entities and so much more. It really educates students on the reality of a career and how your career choices will impact your future. Reality Town is an interactive, fun experience and one every student should enjoy!

The event was presented by The John P. Ellbogen Foundation, Wells Fargo and Southeast Wyoming Builders Association.  Our appreciation goes out to them for making this possible and for allowing our organization's participation.

LCCC announced they will be hosting Reality Town events during the summer. Look out for that information!
