Saddled Up! With the Chamber

The community came to celebrate the "Real Deal" Farmers and Ranchers who are the backbone of Cheyenne's history at Pardner's N' Prosperity on Friday, July 19th. The luncheon was presented by RE/MAX Capitol Properties and was held at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum tent. A live performance by the bluegrass band, "High Plains Tradition" presented by WyoMusic kicked off the afternoon.

Remarks were provided by Governor Mark Gordon, Senator John Barrasso, Congresswoman Liz Cheney, County Commissioner Linda Heath, and Mayor Marian Orr. In addition to this, Steve Prescott of RE/MAX spoke about the real-estate market as well as their involvement in the community, Mark Eisele, Wyoming Stock Growers Association Member & Past President discussed the connected history of the Wyoming Stock Growers Association and Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce and Wyoming State FFA 2nd Vice President, Rudy Nesvik, shared a few words about the Wyoming FFA Association. Lunch was prepared by the Red Lion Hotel & Conference Center.

The Greater Chamber of Commerce's CEO, Dale Steenbergen led the crowd through a live auction, the proceeds of which were donated to FFA Chapters and Chamber programs. Pine Bluffs Distillery donated two whiskey barrels - one of which was given away at the luncheon and the other will be available at the upcoming Trap Tournament in August. Dazbog Coffee also donated a coffee themed gift basket for the upcoming Trap Tournament. Last, Wind River Hotel & Casino donated two half-day white water rafting canyon passes with hotel room included.

The day was made possible by the Chamber's sponsors and volunteers. Special thank you to each individual who dedicated their time and made this event so special.
