Wyoming Wrangler D.C. Fly-In

Having influence at the Federal level is critical to the greater Cheyenne area's economic base because we are heavily comprised of government jobs; Federal, State, and Local. The City of Cheyenne became a community the same time that our Air Force Base was formed. Military has always be an important part of our community's fabric and as the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce it is our role to maintain a healthy economy by preserving this relationship.

In fact, we are not only maintaining it but strengthening it. The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce through the Wyoming Wranglers program has been a prime champion of the $90 Billion appropriated to the modernization of missiles throughout the Nation. This will upgrade our Nation's defense system and bring the largest Congressional investment to the State of Wyoming it is history.

During the Fly-In we visit with our Delegates and address community needs. Sharing our priorities helps Congress to express Wyoming's desires and provides them the tools necessary to negotiate at the federal level for advancement.

Annually, we take with us our Wyoming Wranglers who invest in our Federal advocacy efforts. This year we had several individuals join us for the first time.

"The recent Fly-in to Washington, DC exceeded my expectations in many ways.  First, the Chamber staff took great effort in making sure all attendees were informed and educated on the issues at hand; furthermore, Tonya and Stephanie made sure I was accounted for in all travel…really, all I had to do was follow." shared Michele Bolkovatz of Blue Federal Credit Union, "I was impressed with how much Dale and his staff influence our Senators and Congress women.  Dale made sure they were aware of issues that impact Cheyenne and Wyoming.  We are lucky to have a proactive Chamber to influence change which positively impacts  Wyoming and Cheyenne.”

Become a Wyoming Wrangler and be are large advocate for business interests in our community for all to thrive and prosper.
