Shop Small and support locally owned and operated businesses in the greater Cheyenne area.
By spending your dollars earned at local businesses, the economic impact is circulated more frequently. Locally owned and operated businesses are more likely to spend their money locally too. Additionally, small businesses are known to be the backbone for area non-profits which are important to the community. When shopping locally, remember that each purchase is an investment in a stronger and improved local economy.
The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce is proud to have been a Shop Small Neighborhood Champion for the last 6 years. As the first organization to adopt this initiative in the County, the program has grown to feature more than 100 Businesses' BIG plans for their Shop Small Celebration and has encouraged more than 25,000 residents and visitors to support local businesses.
For the last 2 years the Chamber has partnered with the DDA/Mainstreet to spread the word about the great offerings of local businesses. This year the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce is also partnering with the Ballet Wyoming to strengthen awareness and increase participation in this wonderful initiative.
