Who can be a Chamber Member?

All businesses a part of the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce the moment they become a business. Those who invest in the Chamber as a Community Partner unlock a variety of benefits and access more resources.
Membership is available to any business, organization or government entity that wishes to support the Chamber’s mission and take advantage of the services provided by the organization.
How much does it cost to join the Chamber?

To invest in the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce you must first become a Community Partner. The rate is based your business' number of employees. Note: Every 2 part-time employee is considered a full-time employee.

How do I find out if a business is a Chamber member?

Please search our online business directory. You may search by business category, keyword, or company name.

Who in an organization is a member?
​
All employees of a Chamber member organization can use all of the resources we offer.
How many businesses belong to the Chamber?

On average we have over 1,000 invested Chamber Partners and this number is constantly growing.
Can the Chamber provide a Certificate of Origin?
Yes. Certificates of Origin may be obtained for free by members and for a fee by non-members.
The number of employees fluctuates throughout the year; do I have to adjust during the year?
No, your dues are for the full year and any changes in employment levels are to be made at renewal. Your renewal dues should reflect the number of employees at that time your organization joins the chamber and will be updated during your anniversary month each year.
Is membership tax deductible?

On average, 80 percent of the membership dues are deductible as an ordinary business expense. The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce is a registered 501C(6) organization meaning a portion of every member’s dues is dedicated to lobbying and business advocacy. Our political advocacy, while not tax deductible, has your business’ finances and overall health behind every action. For the exact percentage that may be deducted in any tax year, please contact our office.
Can I participate in Chamber events and programs if I am not a Chamber Member yet?
Yes. There are nominal fee differences for partners versus potential members for most programs and events, but all are invited to come and participate.
