Christmas Parade Quick Facts!



The 29th Annual Cheyenne Christmas Parade is on Saturday, November 30th at 5:30 p.m. in downtown. This is the Saturday following Thanksgiving, and it is the City of Cheyenne's official kickoff to the holiday season presented by Spradley Barr Motors.


Following the parade is Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in the Cheyenne Depot Plaza with Mayor Marian Orr and Santa Claus.


Quick Facts:

  • 2:00 p.m. - Volunteer training LEARN MORE OR VOLUNTEER NOW

  • 3:00 p.m. - Parking on Staging & Route of the Parade closes. Look for RED signs. Towed vehicles can be found in the parking lot across from the Asher on 15th.

  • 3:30 p.m. - Floats are must be in staging position & inspections begin

  • 5:10 p.m. - Toys for Tots & Wheels for Charity Floats begin down the route

  • 5:30 p.m. - Parade begins

  • 7:00 p.m. - Christmas Tree Light Ceremony in Cheyenne Depot Plaza with Mayor Marian Orr & Santa Claus

  • RESTROOMS: Portapotties provided by Triple J Pumping will be placed along the route

  • BONUS: Dazbog, Jonah Bank of Wyoming and a variety of other businesses will be along the route providing attendees with hot chocolate, coupons and more!

  • DOUBLE BONUS: Volunteers receive special edition Christmas Parade beanies and gloves provided by Par 5 Promotions.
