Have a business venture you want to pursue? Here is an option for you!

The Southeast Wyoming Innovation Launchpad (SEWIL) is now accepting applications for their Startup Launchpad, selected applicants will be awarded money for their venture and will capture access to valuable resources.

SEWIL will supply selected applicants access to receive business counseling and financial assistance in starting their ventures. Applicants will be asked a series of seven questions on an online application explaining their forward thinking and innovative proposal. Selected ventures will proceed through the process and will be given a variety of resources to make their ideas a reality.

According to their website, "While no limit is set for how much money a single winning team can receive, historically, awards have been between $4,000 and $31,000."

The Launchpad is a new opportunity for greater Cheyenne area residents and is the first to be executed in Southeast Wyoming. Wyoming Technology Business Center is driving the competition and aligning the resources for the chosen applicants.

"The SE Wyoming Innovation Launchpad aligns with the Forward Greater Cheyenne Plan that has an emphasis on entrepreneurial growth. As the lead implementer of the Entrepreneurship Initiative of Forward Greater Cheyenne, the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce most certainly sees opportunities, such as this, as another option for accelerating business. We encourage everyone with a venture or idea to apply, you never know where it may lead!" expressed Vice President of the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, Stephanie Joy Meisner-Maggard.
