Emily Townsend is a Kansas native that has lived in Wyoming for ten years and brings almost a decade of accounting experience, with a background spanning both private industry and nonprofit organizations.

 

Emily has extensive experience in municipal and organizational finance and has previously acted as an interim executive director for a chamber of commerce in Wyoming. She has also served as a town council member and on city boards, further grounding her work in the public sector.

 

Emily obtained a Bachelor of General Studies from Wichita State University and is currently pursuing graduate studies at the University of Wyoming toward a Master of Public Administration. ​
