Advocating for Business
The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce understands the importance of a unified partnership in dealing with business issues that affect our diverse community makeup. We remain increasingly dedicated to identifying issues that matter to our business so we can effectively advocate for local business interests at the local, state, and federal level.
Through our Wyoming Business & Industry Federation, Wyoming Business Advocates, The Action & Advocacy Committee, and consistent outreach to elected officials at all levels of government, the Greater Cheyenne Chamber consistently strives to stay informed on the latest developments while seeking common sense solutions to many complex issues. Advocating for a strong local economy is our highest priority.
The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce supports a core set of principles that will be used to evaluate public policies, and their effect on general business, at the local, state and national level of legislation and regulatory making policy bodies. Principles are also designed with State-wide participation through the Wyoming Business & Industry Federation. This Federation is a resource to make shared decisions and priorities for Wyoming Businesses and has partnerships with Chambers all around the State.
The following are guidelines for best discernment relative to policy making. They are based on what is best for business in Laramie County and correlated with economic principles.
