Supporting Those Who Serve.
The Military Affairs Committee's (MAC) purpose is to maintain a harmonious and productive relationship between the community and all military units in the area, through education and troop support.
MAC focuses on building ties between the business community and our local military. We support the many military missions accomplished in Cheyenne, and provide support for service members, retirees and their families. Our mission is to support our troops and educate partners and community members about the importance of our military in Cheyenne.

Military Affairs Luncheons
Our Military Affairs Luncheons provide a valuable opportunity for Cheyenne’s business community to connect with local service members, veterans, and military organizations. These gatherings allow attendees to learn how they can get involved in supporting those who serve while also serving as the full committee meeting for the Military Affairs Committee (MAC).
Join us for networking, meaningful conversation, and ways to strengthen the bond between our community and the military.
*Typically held on the third Friday of the month*

Cheyenne Trophy Awards
The Cheyenne Trophy recognizes exceptional mission accomplishment, patriotism, off-duty volunteerism, and meaningful community involvement. It is awarded to the unit whose efforts have had a lasting and positive impact on the city of Cheyenne and its residents.
Each year, the Military Affairs Committee proudly announces the nomination process for the prestigious Cheyenne Trophy Awards. This honor is presented to the most outstanding unit among the Air Force, Air National Guard, and Army National Guard during our annual Military May luncheon.
Adopt An Airman
The Adopt an Airman program allows community “hosts” to connect with one or more Airmen who are assigned to the base on their first assignment and provide a “home away from home” and builds resiliency and relationships through shared community engagement.
The program is designed to make it easy for hosts to include Airmen in their everyday activities. Having a family dinner on Saturday evening? Invite your Airman. Heading out for a hike at Curt Gowdy this weekend? Invite your Airman. Even if you're just planning to hang out, watch the game, or play a few hands of cards—it’s entirely up to you. You create the experience that works best for you!
