STEPHANIE JOY MEISNER-MAGGARD, IOM
Stephanie Joy Meisner-Maggard is the Vice President of the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce. Having a strong passion for business and Wyoming growth, Stephanie moved back to Cheyenne after graduating with honors from Colorado State University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with concentration in Marketing, a minor in Apparel Merchandising, and certificate in Entrepreneurship.
She began working for the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce as the Director of Marketing and Communication. Prior to the Chamber, Meisner-Maggard worked at Everitt Real Estate Center (EREC) developing research and hosting quarterly events for the Real Estate and Finance Industry of Northern Colorado. In her time at EREC, Meisner-Maggard developed the passion for community and economic development, event marketing, advocacy and driving decisions based on data. Further, Meisner-Maggard has product development and consumer buyer behavior analytical skills gained from working as an intern at Water Pik, Inc. in their Marketing Department. Meisner-Maggard's capabilities of developing an idea to implementation of a strategic plan while driving results is one of her biggest assets and is something she enjoys doing at the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce.
While part of the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce team, Meisner-Maggard successfully applied and received the recognition for being one of the top 3 Chamber's in the World in 2014. As a professional in 2018, Meisner-Maggard graduated from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute Program, receiving her IOM Designation.
“In order to see change, you must be the change” is a philosophy she lives by and this helps her reach new heights each day.
In her free time, Stephanie serves on the Board of Directors for STRIDE Learning Center, Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Foundation, Wyoming State Chamber of Commerce and is the Treasurer of the Board of Directors for Ballet Wyoming. She was named in 2015 one of Wyoming Business Reports 40 under 40 and in 2017 was a nominee for Women of Influence. Meisner-Maggard loves to do anything creative from photography and graphic design, to singing with her family and friends, crafting, re-inventing, dancing and overall loves the arts. She is motivated and ready to use her creativity to provide chamber partners with the best services and resources.
